SELF-CARE AND MENTAL HEALTH
Prioritizing your self-care and mental health is very important. Living a balance and healthy life includes taking care of your mental health. Ignoring it could negatively impact your overall health. Here, you will find helpful strategies to cope with mental health issues as well as ways families and communities can help their youths dealing with mental health issues. You will also learn different self-care activities through some of my presentations.
IS IT THAT SIMPLE?
Yes, it is. Make yourself a priority because YOU ARE IMPORTANT! When you do not make yourself a priority, both your mental and physical health suffer. Not prioritizing yourself also affects your relationships. Learn to set boundaries. It's okay to say no, love yourself, and do what you love while spending time on yourself.
In addition, do not over exhaust yourself, ask for help, surround yourself with positive people, and let go of those who burden or hold you back. Finally, engage in activities you cherish, and limit your time on social media.
